The trustees announced with great sadness that Trust Chairman Lilian Mina MBE died on 22nd April after a six-month battle with cancer. Lilian had been the inspiration behind the Trust's success in first saving the Royal Hall and then raising £2.7 million to complete the restoration.

Royal Hall Restoration Trust
is a registered charity whose Object is "The preservation
and restoration for the public benefit of the Royal Hall
in Harrogate" being a building of particular historical
and architectural interest. The Trust's Charity number is
1090032.
Over the past three years, the Trust's has raised £2.7 million so that important works omitted from the original core restoration project for the Royal Hall were able to be reinstated
